Reagile is a risk taker, competitive and patient on the race track.
The young karter's racing interest was sparked when invited to a birthday party celebration at an indoor karting circuit at the age of 6 years.
The young karter was introduced to 4-stroke amateur karting on the 14th of June 2018 at the age of 7 years 3 months, by his Uncle Godfrey Malumane at the Vereeniging Karting Circuit.
At the age of 8 he began his professional racing in the 2-stroke kart series. He was registered and entered in the 2019 Rok Cup Championship by his team - “Spice Karting Team” also his nickname and has kept on winning various races.
Having impressed the organizers of the championship in his first season of racing, Reagile “Spice” was afforded an opportunity to go participate and fly the SA Flag at the prestigious 2-week long 29th Autumn Trophy Finale in Italy Lonato in October 2019, with that being his first international race trip.
He bagged himself a third position podium win.
Due to his outstanding performance in Italy - Lonato, he was further invited in December 2019 in Napoli to participate at the 24th “Ayrton Senna” Trophy where he also did not disappoint and bagged himself another podium win coming 3rd.
At the age of 9 Reagile graduated to the Rotax Max Challenge Championship and was enrolled in the Micro Max Class. A much competitive class, a heavier kart, faster engine and a great number of good and experienced driver participation.
However, all of that did not distract him from reaching his continued desire to win.
He concluded his season with the Club Championship title to his name, Regional Championship 2nd podium position, National Championship 4th position and the Africa Open Cup 2nd podium position giving him an opportunity to be part of the South Africa Team to go to Portugal for the World Grand Finals (also known as the Karting Olympics).
Reagile continued his progress in the Micro Max Class with the intention and desire to retire the class with a National Title. Despite all challenges, odds and evens he won the 2021 National Championship.
He will once again be representing South Africa at the World Grand Final (Karting Olympics) in Bahrain in December 2021
His win marks an exit from the Micro Max class to the much more challenging Mini Max class.
With success, support came from Jaguar Land Rover The Glen providing transportation logistics for all of Reagile’s National races (2019 – 2020).
In February 2020 Reagile was named SA Brand Ambassador for Kimoa – a Spanish clothing and accessories brand founded by the Spanish Formula One driver Fernando Alonso (2020 – Current).
